Survivor on the Row: Season 48, Episode 13 - The Winner of Survivor 48 is...

- The Winner of Survivor 48 is....- by: Andy Canales Texas Death Row KYLE??!!Seriously? hahahaha! I gotta say he was/is the Survivor of 48..no doubt! He PLAYED the game..He OUT WITTED all of them and was sneaky good at planting the kind of sowing seeds of distrust to his own alliance that was able to blindside Thomas, David, Shahein.. He was instrumental in all of that game play..Then he managed to do the best job of OUT LASTING, all the others in the game..That was no easy feat, had any of those moves backfired on him..and he was right..the most dynamic duo was Kamilla and Kyle..they played it to the end..and I personally think she threw that challenge, because she knew that sitting in final 3 was not good for either of them.. The final challenge were great and Kamilla winning the necklace and being smart to take Eva was good..Kyle winning that challenge was HUGE! Classic game to..huh? I will say this..Eva had a chance to play the game and show she was IN IT, TO WIN IT!! Her chance was right there..she could have played her immunity idol for Mitch and shot Kyle in back with one move..Shouda, wouda couda!! If 'if'was a fifth, we would all be drunk! So, there we go my fellow Survivor followers, we shall see each other for season 49 and see who gets to be called a Winner...This is Bella Cooper's first win and she earned it..she outwitted, out played and out lasted, with not just one finalist in our draft, but TWO!! Great work Cooper, and "congrats!" but know I'm grinding my teeth as I say that!! LOL! You get to walk in the sun and hear the cheers and applause.. See you all next season and know that it will be epic..this season showed us a whole mother level of game play and we should get ready to see the game stepped up..YES! I pray that I am here for season 50..That is going to be so freaking awesome! Can't wait! I leave with this simple quote.. Answer. For better or worse, all 3 of these players gave and put their own stamp on this game and changed the way it can be played... Survivor on the Row: Season 48, Episode 12 - Blindsided

- Blindsided - by: Andy Canales Texas Death Row Do we ever get tired of it..do we?! To watch someone who is so confident in their game, that they don't see the axe hangin' over their head? Talk about being oblivious!! Watching this episode was a confirmation of my own assessment on how these people are asleep at the wheel. From the start, it seemed that they all were just happy to be final 6 and that from here " we are going to make some moves!".. They are smart enough to recognize that Joe is NOT the one you wanna sit next to at the end,BUT! they don't seem to want to think past the next move. The strong 4 were all kombaya and Yeeaah! "we are gonna do this" attitude, yet not thinking thru the last tribal or asking questions, but I thought maybe-MAYBE! this will wake them up and get ready to get at it, and the Reward Challenge didn't disappoint! The need to play this game like you wanna win finally started to kick in and seeing Shahien not give up and win a challenge was very cool,perfect timing cause at this stage of the game you need all the energy you can get for the final push over the hump that will get you in position, for a spot on that log for a chance to win that Mil! Now, how many of you screamed NO! when he picked Joe to go on reward with him? huh? You know you did! How could you not.You don't feed the monster that is set to rip you a new one! NO! You send his ass back to camp and let him chew on a coconut..Not work his way thru hamburgers,beer, and cheese cake! Yet, it was refreshing to see some sunlight cut thru the dimness of game play that we have watched since Sai went home,Shahien really showed me that he was thinking and ready to make a move,the conversation with Kyle was telling, and Kyle's reaction showed what we already knew (He is shaddy and a good liar, but scared to make a move) but, he listened and started to formulate a plot which surprised even me at the level of craftiness. It was so prison like, to watch the salt he was dropping and the way he manipulated the word play on Joe..who AGAIN! is living in a freaking bubble! How can you miss the signs of the deception that was happening right in front of you?! David knew, and could feel it, see's it, and said it and got smoked mmmmm. Is it possible I am not giving Kyle his due, and really see his game? Maybe,If I think back and just replay the game I can see his.Truth is, he has been cautious, overtly so, yet his moves have produced result's. Locking in Kamilla when she solved the puzzle for him, going to work when they merged the tribes into 3 new ones and then working Shahien and Thomas to believe that they were at odds, the cold blindside of Thomas and breaking that California Girls alliance,stunning really! WOW!Thinking it through and just seeing the level of moves along the way,not to much, just enough to get themselves to the next level is eye opening and I'm not giving credit to great game play. Back at camp, Kamilla and Mitch are talking smack and KNOWS that it was a bad move to take Joe on reward, and have decided that Shahien gotta go! Of course, Eva is oblivious to the conversation cause she is NOT locked in the game..she is all warm and fuzzy with an idol in her pocket! LOL! Foolish child! Of course , the Immunity Challenge went as they all knew it would,Joe won! He is full of burgers, beer, and cake..LOL! But, the plot was in motion and THIS is where I am now seeing Kyle's level of game play.The fact that Joe blew past everyone on the challenge is not surprising, yet it opened the game to possibilities that Shahien and Kyle's game could reap reward.Trouble is, Shahien is playing his game blindly. while Kamilla and Kyle are looping and hog tying him! NIIICE! And again, Joe is playing in a bubble, he can sense it, the disturbance in the force, but can't see it, even though David told him, Mary told him, and he and Eva just closed their eyes to it, OUCH!

The plan is in motion..Kamilla has her script and Kyle's is moving across the board and I gotta admit, its slick game play...Joe didn't actually bite, but he didn't ignore it.. The seed and salt was planted, and Joe went to his number 1, Eva and told her what he thinks is happening..Eva bought Kyle's game and co-signed his move with no thought to the warnings that David layed open on the beach! THAT was the play that should have opened my eyes to Kyle's game play, because he pulled that move also...WOW! I'm really starting to see it... So, its all in motion, and when Joe speaks to Kamilla he nibbles at the bait, and speaks to Shahien.. hahahaha! The way Shahien went to fumbling for some lifeline, showed that he didn't expect that at all...LOL ! But Joe can smell it..yet, he is blinded by his own confidence in his game play, not understanding that its in the paranoia that players shine! So, he sat thinking, instead of reacting, and got PLAYED! Thru Tribal I just listened to the level of BS that was being shoveled out to cover the moves that they all THOUGHT was going down. Poor blind Shahien sitting there and not catching what Kyle has done..A game of 'chicken' indeed! Ya blinked bro, and got smoked, but don't feel like your all alone Shahien cause your not! Joe and Eva are soon to be roadkill if they don't wakeup and smell that rat that is in the camp! Here is what caught my eye..Kamilla didn't vote for Shahien did she? LOL! Now, THAT was a move within a move..she IS playing now! Blindsides are fun to watch, and when it makes an impact its even more significant and shows your in the GAME! This one was epic in the sense that they didn't just maneuver a great move, but in essence you pulled a multi-blindside on your alliance and the fallout is about to be calculated...WOW! Here is a final thought...MITCH...is it possible that the true survivor IS Mitch? He has placed a lot of missteps and come up short in a lot of ways, yet while everyone is playing their game, he has just floated thru on his social game, which seems like nobody perceives as a threat...interesting, huh? Could Mitch win this game, by simply pointing out that he is the only one who can claim that he is The Survivor?! Peace, Andy Canales Texas Death Row

Survivor on the Row - Season 48, Episode 11: "Unforgettable"

- Unforgettable - by: Andy Canales Texas Death Row Unforgettable? Really? Was it? Perhaps in the game it could be called Unforgettable, if we look at how they failed to play The Game! How did they forget? Out Wit, Out Play and Out Last!! What is so hard about that? The plan was simple, and I give Mary her card for putting it out there and trying to just make it one more day..That is how you do it, you don't give up, you keep working all the angles 'till they snuff your torch. THAT is Survivor 101! It was clear that Kamilla and Mitch are trying to squeeze some juice outta that 4 strong..BUT! They seem to be tip toeing around what they have to do..Kamilla is trying to convince Kyle of a MOVE, and is missing a chance to throw a wrench into the mix, to create and sow seeds of suspicion, get a wedge into that 4 that is so dominating the game right now..The move on David clearly shows that they are willing to turn on one another..am I right? You know it! Is it just me, or is Eva playing in a bubble? She has not calculated how she and her number one, Joe can get to the final four, and win the game..She is smart, but one thing I know to be true, is that most smart people are so smart, they are dumb! She went on the journey and did what? Played to not lose a vote? Why? She has 2 advantages in her pocket, and she is scared to put her vote on the line? She didn't even try! Then telling everyone what went down?! No conversation with her alliance or with Joe, just popped off and told everyone what and how ....sigh!... Perhaps I gave to much credit to this group of players, or perhaps the mediocre group of players managed to vote out the players who were willing to play the game to the fullest? What was a chance to make a play when Kamilla won the immunity idol and reward, was wasted with snack and chat, that went no where after the votes were read! Here she is, throwing a smoke screen up to Eva, (and she bought it) plotting a move, and all for naught! No move, no play, no joy, not even a rock thrown at some targets just to stir the pot back at camp, when this is down to 6! Kamilla has no Plan B..she is hinging her play on Kyle's play, which isn't going to win her a million..Even the conversation she has with Kyle was WEAK! "Oh one of us has to be there to win the game..." What da hell is dat!?!?? One of us? Did nobody tell this woman that there is no second place? When is she going to play HER GAME? I betcha Kyle is thinking about it..hahahaha! Same said for Mitch..He needs to get in the game, they ALL do.. Unforgettable? Perhaps what will be the saddest unforgettable moment, is watching these players miss the moments to alter, play, be bold, and take a chance to not only win a million, but receive the title of SURVIVOR in a game that had Unforgettable game play.. I'm hoping these last 6 will show they are worthy of that title and money, by scratching, clawing, turning, and stabbing each other in the back and TAKING their spot on the final four to battle for that seat to convince the jury that they are the ONE that deserves to win and why! - "TIME TO GO! - by: Andy Canales Texas Death Row Yo' its time to go, time to roll, time 2 ease out da door, but before I go, let me hit dis flo.. Da moment I spoke, I knew it was ah joke, the game was so dope, playas in da mix, hangin' from ah rope.. Dey hit dat reward challenge, like it was ah box ah hope, I knew it was real when I seen da worm, last time I tried dat I got hurt! Dees fools was in da mix, chicken an waffles a str8 fix, it was all in da wrist, an' it was Kyle dat hit dat lick! Da plot was thick, he knew da risk, played da pick, like Curry did! Back at da camp was where it was at, Mary tried to come up wit a plan, but Joe ain't no joke, brother hit dat spot like Jackie Chan, knew they all had to be chill, as dey worked on dey tans! Da taste of fried bird, don't last but a blink, time to fight for dat neck ware like Ali, stackin' blocks like we was 3, da winner is guaranteed, to make it another week, groans be heard, as Joe hits a streak, we gonna see dat boy next week! Inny, meeny, miney, moe, which one is goin' home? da scramble to survive one more day is OWN, the game is to be played, but ya can't win alone... Plots within plots begin to thicken, is it time for a blindside and get some payback for that fried chicken? who it gonna be that sits wit dat jury, is it gonna be Star or Mary? One thing we know doe, dis game is set to explode, yo! Star sittin' on the sideline cause she forgot how to play, gave away dat idol an' lost da game, now she on da jury WATCHIN' dem play, shot in da dark went to waste, now ya gotta mouth full ah badtaste, what a waste, but hey y'all we gotta race, who's gonna win first place?! Survivor on the Row: Season 48, Episode 9: "KABOOM!!"

KABOOM!! by Andy Canales Now, THAT is how you blindside someone! I am still in shock that they actually pulled it off..I honestly didn't think Eva would do it..she was torn but, oh man!! LOL! Looking back and seeing how this all went down, is really educational..The way David failed to express himself in a way that would have been more effe- ctive, is his own fault..he should have taken it down a notch and Kamilla said it right..This is survivor, dude! He got back from tribal and started in..That was NOT good...everyone was happy with the vote, but he has sour grapes??! Dude! Then the conversations that transpired the very next day..He went straight into this paranoia, which WAS warranted, to be real, and they were right (.Mary and David) about Kyle, Kamilla and Shauhin although the odd man out is still this fool who thinks he has it figured out! Shauhin is being played and just ain't figured it out..YET! BUT! Let's look at the tape people..It was Shauhin that made this blindside happen! Yes, David helped him, by not toning it down some but it was all set in motion by Shauhin who played into the thinking of Kyle and Kamilla..Brilliant move and one for the books. Because of that move, my guy Mitch is still in the game and is about to make some moves, which will create some chaos at the camp and bring some real serious drama into the mix..oh yeah! Joe winning Immunity and the reward was cool, and taking Mitch and Shauhin on the reward was really awesome....It showed that its not all game, their is always room for compassion and some humanity in this. Mitch really looks starved and Shauhin needs to feel some love from those who are his allies..David though was acting like a little kid with that pouty and funky face he was throwing around..That was another nail in the coffin,that he gave to them himself! Eva! What??! That chick is playing like a pro and has not misstepped yet, which is strange..she is really liked and perhaps they are not realizing that she is really the danger in this game..They know she has ANOTHER advantage, thanks to Kyle and his sketchy ass! But, she was smart to pull the trigger on David..she showed she is IN THIS GAME! So, what do we take away from this Tribal? Simple, there is no honor among thrives, EVER!! AT ALL! Take it from a person that is surrounded by career criminals and that is the ONE thing you can count on from me..REAL TALK! There are none who keep their "word".. There is no honor when it comes to money,drugs, or the opposite sex..We will lie, cheat, steal and burn the house down to get that money, and if any of you say " NO! that's not who I am!" Then you're not a SURVIVOR! If you wanna win the game in life and Survivor, you have to make some very tough decisions and pull some shady moves to come out on top..If your not willing to do that, you will always play for second place..and lose the game. Of course, it goes without saying, that its not easy, and it hurts to burn those who trust you, which you'll carry around with you for life..and sure, you can tell yourself "Its just a game" but, IF you wanna win at it, your gonna have to get dirty! This was/is the beginning of the end, and all of them are about to take it up a notch..Go get it, Survivors! If you ain't in it to win it, why you in it??!! Peace, Andy Canales Texas Death Row
