Survivor on the Row - Season 49, Episode 8: NOBODY IS SAFE!

** Survivor on the 'Row ** - NOBODY IS SAFE! - by: Andy Canales Texas Death Row Nov. 2025

Its about time!! Finally, some game

play that made everyone watching last night get excited..It took weeks, but its ON! The whole episode was lit, and from the moment that they got back from Tribal, it was all about damage control and how can I save my ass! LOL! Even Sofia Blue was up and whispering to people, cause she knew the winds just shifted and there was a storm coming...smart..very.. I won't recap this week..what for? You seen it and ya know what it means, huh? Yeah ya do! This was what we needed, a shot heard on the island and people remembering that there is a bunch of money at stake in this game. From the scramble to find MC's idol, to watching Savannah work her sob story how ... "Noooobody liked meeee!" UGH! How desperate do you gotta be, to share THAT on TV..huh? I can smell game and that was a fire sale on GAME! She is scrambling and rightly so, they all should be after that tribal..The move was lame, and it would have sent tremors if they had actually stuck to the plan and hit Savannah or Rizo, but the shot was heard..smile.. The Immunity Challenge and the way that it was done was WICKED!! That shocked all of them and to see the effort that Sofie Yellow put in, showed me she is a PLAYER As for Savannah, that was just pure and simple desperation..and it got her a win, and RESPECT for the work.. The best part of it all was the REAL play of the losing 5! THAT was so sick! You could taste the moves and the actual fear start to settle in their stomachs! LOL! That was soooo good.. yet, all for naught. THE MOVE was all set and all it ya had to do was follow through with the plan, and instead they went to adding and twisting the play until NOBODY knew what would happen..Yet, in the end..FEAR was what won out..Fear of pulling a trigger, fear of making THE move, and fear of the consequences that the move would hand out, and when you play from fear you are gonna get run over when you finally pump up your courage to make a move.. This tribal showed that the game is finally ON! and that is what we all needed, cause another night of kumbaya tribal love would have made me sick! One thing is for certain, Tribal lines of loyalty finally went south and the scramble for a million dollars is now in play, so hang on y'all, cause ITS ABOUT TO GO DOWN! Survivors Ready! Survivor on the Row: Season 49, Episode 7: No Muss, No Fuss!

** Survivor on the 'Row **

- No Muss, No Fuss! - By: Andy Canales. Texas Death Row How many of you just sat there with glazed looks on your face?.Huh? At any time did you get excited and think, "Oh this is about to GO DOWN!!".. Tell the truth..didja? I sure did! I was all hyped, and ready for some GAME, but what I got was more of the same spoonful of tame game, that makes you wanna go to sleep..am I right? Can I get an amen??! This blows! I am more excited for The Amazing Race, then this lame game we are stuck watchin'..And Jeff had the gall to tell them that there was spots open for the 50th season?! Whaaaat?! Okay, for a moment I was excited..The game was set, and it was on when they all broke and scrambled for keys, and to see Sage get it was exciting, cause you KNEW she was in it to win it, right? The challenge was dope, and you could see they were INTO IT! Then the Immunity Challenge was really intense, with Sophie winning with sheer will power..YEAH! The Merge meal was all mmmm and battle lines were clear. Then it went all down hill from there. Sure, I could speak on some of the exciting bits and pieces we saw..Savannah making a play for the keys MC was looking for..LOL! That was good..She was ready to fight for them and I kinda wished she had been able to get a hand on them and see what would in sue, right? Not to mention when Sage and Jawan sold the hog on Shannon..very tasty and crunchy the way Sage sold it, and the looks that Savannah was working to show her empathy was comical! Yet, the only one that got bloody was the damn chicken they killed! That's It! It was hopeful to see "The Scramble " that rolls out when its the first individual tribal, and listening to the plans developed by Sage and Jawan to shape the game moving forward, WAS exciting, but when its all said and done we were fed wet cardboard with no flavor, and watched a "safe" vote that sent a none threatening Survivor out the door..DISGUSTING! It was a No Muss, No Fuss bullcrap move by vanilla players who didn't have the courage to pull the trigger and play SURVIVOR! Here is something to chew on..Is it possible that this is the death rattle for Survivor? That season 50 is the last hurrah? Are we gonna get 18 losers on a beach and listen to them all TRY to remember how to play this game? Is it possible? I am sadly disappointed and it don't make me feel better when I saw the previews for next week..So, like all of you, I'm just hangin' on and marking the days for NEXT season, to get some exciting game play going..I HOPE! But, who knows..? Maybe they find a pair and start to play the game and remember that they are trying to win a million dollars, huh? Its possible, it could happen..doubtful, but maybe..Ya never know.. Until next week, I'm gonna go and replay last season, and be thankful for the glory days of yesteryear, when people played TO WIN, not to get a participation ribbon but to actually walk away with a WIN and a MILLION DOLLARS in their pocket! You 'member dem days? I do! See ya next week Survivors, and remember we are closer to season 50 each day that passes by..LOL! That's what gets me thru this lame ass season.. Peace!
